For the first time, more than 59 million Turks voted for the new members of Parliament under the President on the same day. The election has ended the existing parliamentary system of governance and replaces it with executive presidency as per the Referendum passed in 2017.
Turkey Elections 2018 : What and Why was the World Worried About?
On April 16, Turkey narrowly votes 'YES' on the referendum that would democratically reorganize the government. The referendum allowed the changes that would eventually give the sweeping powers to the President of the country, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Yet Again, Recep Tayyip Erdogan is victorious. This success will taste a lot sweeter for the man who has now won the consecutive 10 national poll since his AK Party came to power since 2002. The Re-Elections were called at the time when Turkey's currency was at the weakest position as it has been years. But now this has been paid off for the man after he won the Turkey early elections which were otherwise supposed to be in 2019.
Addressing his supporters after the win, calling it 'The Win for the Nation':

Recep Tayyip Erdogan has secured another term as President in the office for another five years. The number of world leaders and his alliance friends had already congratulated him for this historic election win. The HDP, mainly the pro-Kurdish Party had got past the 10%. the threshold which has made them secure more than 60 seats in the Parliament.
Erdoğan’s victory means will now assume an office imbued with sweeping executive powers that voters narrowly approved in a constitutional referendum last year, including the power to issue decrees with the force of law, appoint the cabinet and vice-presidents as well as senior judges.
