Actor Upasna Singh switches to producer for Dev Kharoud's movie 'Bai Ji Kuttange'

 

Moga, India: For more than three decades, Upasna Singh, a name that needs no recognition, has turned the producer of the forthcoming film "Bai Ji Kuttange" under Santosh Entertainment Studios banner.  'Bai Ji Kuttange' is a family comedy film that will surely entertain the audience. Directed by Samip Kang, the film stars Nanak, son of Upasna Singh, Dev Kharoud opposite Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu in the lead roles and Gurpreet Ghuggi and Upasna Singh in special roles. Dev Kharoud is well known for playing wisecracking or hard-edged characters, often in spectacular action films but this is one of the types. The director of 'Bai Ji Kuttange', Samip Kang, said, "The Punjabi film industry is constantly booming and we are happy that we are getting more and more people to produce our films. It's icing on the cake. I am very excited about this new beginning and we hope that people will appreciate our efforts.” Additionally, the movie will mark the debut of Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu who was the winner of Miss Punjab 2019.

On her first of such resolutions, the producer of the film Upasana Singh said, “We want to focus on movies that entertain and linger in the hearts of the audience forever. We are sure that the crew on this cast are likely to be persuaded".  Likely the lead actor Dev Kharoor commented, "As an actor, I always wanted to try all styles. Although people love my action characters more. I hope that 'Bai Ji Kutnge' will enable me to make people laugh and relieve their stress and worries for a while”. The filming of this movie is being done under the supervision of the industry's renowned cinematographer Shiv Shakti. The ace cinematographer has earlier been part of projects like Dreamz, Blackia and Zakhmi.

Actor Dev Kharoud has not been much active on social media. But he has given a surprise to fans by sharing the poster of his next film titled Dakuan Da Munda 2. The actor will be seen in the lead role opposite Japji Khaira. Dev Kharoud was last seen in Zakhmi opposite Anchal Singh. Director Inderpal Singh directorial was a tale of a common man saving his family from evil elements of the society, being produced under the banners of Binnu Dhillon and Anshu Munish Shahni.
