ECAS Cinema: Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' to release on 21st September

CHANDIGARH, INDIA: The trailer of Batti Gul Meter Chalu has released on YouTube. Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and actress Shraddha Kapoor are in the lead role in this movie. As it has been seen in the trailer, the film starts in a very interesting way. Divyanshu, who has already won the audience's heart by acting in the movies 'Pyaar Ka Panchanama' and 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha', will be seen as a supporting actor. Yami Gautam is also playing the role of an Advocate. The 3-minute trailer saw many fluctuations in the film. 

A twist comes in the story of the film when electricity bill suddenly jumps around to Rs 54 lakh in Divyanashu's factory and then many incidents occur in order to repay it. Everyone is surprised at seeing the electricity bill in such a way that the matter concerning STPL reaches the court. Shahid Kapoor himself fighting his battle in the court.

GULSHAN KUMAR, T-Series and Virendrra Arora present In Association Krti Pictures, Batti Gul Meter Chalu is an upcoming Indian Hindi film directed by Shree Narayan Singh and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shree Narayan Singh, Nitin Chandrachud, Kusum Arora and Nishant Pitti.

The film's very interesting first look was released. It was shown in the Motion poster that pigeons are sitting on electric wires and saying, light bulbs are from last night. Yet the bill is full of all. Yami Gautam plays the role of a lawyer supporting one of Shahid Kapoor's roadblocks, the private electricity company that forced Sharma's character to commit suicide. While the Vicky Donor actress makes his quest difficult, Shraddha Kapoor acts as his pillar of support.

Remarks At the time of releasing the motion poster of the film, Srinarayan Singh said, "I am eagerly waiting to work with Shahid Kapoor. They are talented and I think they will be able to do justice to this character." The film has been a hot topic ever since its announcement but the buzz around it sky-rocketed once the first look of Shree Narayan Singh's film was revealed. The Ek Villian actress took to Twitter and unveil the posters of Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which is hitting the cinemas on 21 September 2018.
