    Pakistan Army surpasses Israel now ranks in the top ten, while India ranks fourth strongest

    In the 2021 Global Firepower ranking, Pakistan Army is ranked 10th worldwide, according to information released by the agency on their official website, in comparison with 133 nations. The global firepower list (GFP), with categories ranging from the military, finances, logistics capability, and geography, is focused on over such 50 metrics to assess the national PowerIndex ("PwrIndx") scale. With 0,0000 as perfect score in the GFP annual report, Pakistan's military in 2021 has scored 0,2083, which is a powerful achievement. Pakistan is the only nation amongst the top 15 to raise the ranking by leaving Israel, Canada, Iran and Indonesia at a huge five-seater spring.

    The country's annual defence spending is estimated to be $7 billion. The U.S. military has been ranked by Russia and China as the best armed power in the world. The Indians held the fourth place while the ranking decreased for countries such as Angola, Bulgaria and Syria.     In terms of combat manpower, the Pakistani military is one of the world's largest armies. Credit Suisse also credit the country with large fleets of helicopters, tanks and planes. Furthermore, Pakistan is believed to develop nuclear warheads at adequate pace to have the world's third largest nuclear arsenal in the next decade. According to the report, Pakistan currently has 140 to 150 nuclear weapons, and if Pakistan's speed on nuclear weapons becomes similar, Pakistan will have 220 to 250 nuclear weapons and reserves by 2025.

    Hans M Christensen, Robert S. Norris, and Julia Diamond said in the report 'Pakistani nuclear forces 2018' that the US Defense Intelligence Agency had estimated 60 to 80 nuclear weapons with Pakistan in 1999 and claimed that Pakistan will enhance nuclear weapons to 140 to 150 by 2020.
