Barnala, June 10
Two brothers were shot dead over a land dispute in Rureke Kalan village of Barnala district on Wednesday evening.
The accused has been identified as Karmjit Singh, cousin of the victims.
Reportedly, the accused opened fire at Lakhvir Singh and Amarjit Singh following a scuffle over a land dispute and left both of them injured.
Barnala SMO Dr Jyoti Kaushal said both had succumbed to the injuries and were declared brought dead.
