    Chandigarh, December 16

    The state reported 336 cases and 18 deaths in the past 24 hours. As per a government bulletin released on Wednesday, the total number of cases has reached 1,61,383 and the number of deaths stands at 5,135.

    At present, 112 patients are on oxygen support and 14 are on ventilator support. As far as deaths are concerned, the state reported 18 deaths in the past 24 hours. In the district-wise breakup, Amritsar topped the list with five deaths, followed by Ferozepur and Ludhiana (3 each), and Kapurthala (2). — TNS
