Chandigarh, India: India's largest state in terms of Area will undergo for the assembly elections in last quarter of the year most probably. There are two main parties in the state and main competition is also amongst them. Both are confident of their winning and claiming that voters of the state are with them.
Bharatiya Janata Party is ruling in the state and Vasundhara Raje Scindia is the current CM of the state. BJP is in power from the last term and before that Congress was in the power. Rajasthan elections have a strange trend from many elections, Congress and BJP winning the elections one by one. As per the trend, many pundits are expecting the win of the Congress in the state. Here are some factors which might affect the Rajasthan elections.
People of Rajasthan are not happy with incumbent CM Vasundhara Raje hence anti-incumbency is a big factor. Secondly, the Rajput community which is a strong vote-bank for BJP in a state is angry because of an encounter of GANGSTER AnandPal. Likewise, Bussiness community, another stronghold of BJP is not happy due to an economic slowdown. Moreover, Doctors and Teachers are not satisfied with policies of present government.
Lastly, there is no such development done by the State Government, and it's static after the comeback of the BJP government in Assembly Elections 2013. People are remembering work done by Shri Ashok Gehlot led Congress Govt. due to which he is popularly known as “Jan-Nayak”.
